There are currently no children's shows at the Avenue Theater.
We make it our goal
to provide engaging – even thrilling – theatrical
experiences within a broader framework of education and artistic
appreciation. When you bring your child to an Avenue Children’s
Theater production you can expect a dynamic and interactive
experience sure to jumpstart the creative juices in children
of all ages.

Tribal Tales Of Africa
Avenue
Children’s Theater has been producing top notch entertainment
for young audiences since our first, award winning venture in
2005. Tribal Tales Of Africa, written
by Chris Willard and Jamie Bruss, played to packed houses and
critical acclaim winning the Denver Post Ovation Award
for best children’s show of 2005.

Destination Dinosaurs
In 2006/2007
we produced our second children’s show, Destination
Dinosaurs, by Pamela Clifton. This time travel
adventure was nominated for best children’s show of 2006
in the Denver Post Ovation Awards and Chris Boeckx,
who played Igor, won the Ovation Award for best actor in a children’s
production. The show also won Marlowe awards in both of those
same categories.
Spring of 2010 will be our next children’s production.
