performer with Chicken Lips Comedy Theater. Some people refer to LuAnn as a real “mother______er”. And even if they don’t mean it in a good way, that’s okay ‘cause she is a mother! A mother of two kids, Emilia and Sam. So how appropriate that she is one of the cast members in this show. Thanks to his amazing insight, Bob Wells has given LuAnn the chance to be a legitimate actress instead of doing that improv comedy she’s done for years with Chicken Lips and Plastered in Paris. She feels honored to be able to work with this wonderful cast.

Megan Heffernan
Megan is a writer, producer and actress who feels right at home here at Avenue Theater. The hilarious scripted-theater-meets-improv show “SCRIPTprov,” which she performs in and co-produces, is an
ongoing production at the Avenue. Motherhood absolutely deserves this play and Megan would like to thank her mom for having her, Bob Wells for the opportunity, and her family for loaning her to the night so she could go play mom in it.

Jeff Kosloski
Jeff is geeked to be the only dude in this killer show full of ridiculously talented actors. He’s been performing improv and sketch comedy in Denver for the past 15 years and just closed his sixth year
(fourth at the Avenue) of Santa’s Big Red Sack. He’s also a co-founder of the award-winning filmmaking troupe Cinema Geeks. Jeff is here because of two incredible mothers: his mom who raised him and his wife is raising him. He adores them both.

Cindy is thrilled to be part of this wonderful show celebrating motherhood, and is proud to be the mother of Andrew & Kathryn and the daughter of Agnes. Cindy performs with the improv group
“The Dishwater Blondes,” is the creator and co-producer of the original show, “SCRIPTprov” at Avenue Theater, and has appeared in numerous shows at Vintage Theatre. She wants to thank this incredibly talented and inspirational cast and the incomparable Bob Wells, not to mention her husband & family who all put up with her.

Sam is so excited to be joining the last leg of Motherhood Out Loud! A 2010 graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, she is happy to be back at the Avenue Theater, the last time being almost exactly a year ago in String of Pearls. She is an actress you may have seen around town in performances at the Spark and Edge Theaters, and would like to thank Bob for the opportunity!

Jane Shirley
Jane is the co-founder of Rattlebrain Entertainment and, along with some really good friends and a really great husband, has created and performed in several critically acclaimed and politically incorrect
shows like Spackle the Crack, It’s Hickenlooper’s World and Santa’s Big Red Sack, which just closed its fourth successful run right here at the Avenue. She is also the shortest one in the family since her just-turned-teenage son is now over six feet tall.
